The aim of the electronic discussion (e-discussion) is to allow experts to share their opinions and thoughts on the seminar topics and to receive contributions on the role of the media in ACP agricultural development from experts who will not be attending the seminar.

People from all the socio-professional categories concerned with agricultural development will be invited to participate in this e-discussion: journalists (television, radio, print), agricultural development specialists from ACP countries, representatives of the European Union and regional and international organisations as well as the heads of agricultural information services in ACP Ministries of agriculture.

To allow all the experts to participate actively, the e-discussion will be held simultaneously in French and in English, with one or two facilitators. After a question has been discussed, a joint summary will be prepared and will be available in both languages.

The e-discussion will be launched on the 1st July 2009. We would like to invite you to participate.
